Advanced Cellular & Timing Adv. Area Search Investigations Date: July 13, 2026 - 8:30 a.m- 4:30 p.m.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Connected Vehicle data. Participants will learn the principles of cellular networks, how devices interact within them, and how to analyze Tower Dumps and specialized location records. Additionally, the course covers Timing Advance technology for precise geographic, searches, integrating these methods with traditional investigative tools, and ensuring adherence to legal and ethical guidelines
Course Objectives:
Understand the principles of cellular networks and Timing Advance technology and their applications in investigations. Learn how to create targeted search areas using both Tower Dumps and Timing.
Advanced technology. Analyze cellular records, including Tower Dumps, to identify potential leads and suspects.
Apply legal and ethical considerations in the use of cellular and geographic data.
Utilize specialized location records, advanced area searches, and Connected Vehicle data in investigations.
Develop skills in interpreting and visualizing Timing Advance data for investigative purposes.
Integrate Timing Advance and Tower Dump data with other investigative tools to enhance case-solving efforts.
Apply learned methodologies to solve real-world complex criminal cases using both theoretical knowledge and hands-on practice.
Learning Outcome:
Upon completing this course, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to effectively use Tower Dumps, Area Searches, and Timing Advance technology in their investigations, allowing them to solve complex cases more efficiently and contribute to public safety with confidence.
INSTRUCTOR:
We only use active law enforcement, who are currently using these techniques in their daily roles as our instructors. By doing this, it keeps the material up to date and immediately applicable for the students. The instructors can use their own active cases to reinforce the techniques taught in the class. School Resource Officer CJSTC Course #090 - 40 Hours
Monday, July 13 – Friday, July 17, 2026 - 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

COURSE: This course is designed to provide the participant with an overview of the educational
environment and strategies as it relates to school safety and school-based policing. This course includes
the history, philosophy, strategies, and skills necessary to serve as a School Resource Officer.
TOPICS TO BE COVERED INCLUDE: Building rapport with students, teachers, and administrators, search
and seizure laws and other juvenile-related laws, crime trend awareness, emergency management, campus
security, student counseling and mediation, identifying and using outreach resources
NOTE: Students should have successfully completed the basic recruit training program or have been
exempted prior to taking this course. Students are required to pass an end-of-course examination with a
minimum of 80%. Students must attend all sessions of the course.

Speed Measurement Date: July 20-24, 2026 - 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Mon-Fri)
Location: ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ - ATC campus
COURSE DESCRIPTION: This is the CJSTC and FDLE certified Speed Measurement Course (1158) to become a certified radar and laser operator in the State of Florida. The student will learn to identify targets and become familiar with speed estimates. The student will conduct testing procedures on the equipment to ensure proper operation. The student will learn the legal basis for the principles of Doppler radar and the proper vernacular for courtroom testimony. There will be at least 12 hours of hands-on practical exercises as part of the course. It is recommended that the students bring radar and laser units for the field exercises (if available).
